  1. TITEDEMO is a working demo (save disabled) of the TITED text editor
  2. v.1.00 by Raymond Hill (dated 1993).  This .PRG/.ACC text editor is
  3. blazingly fast in scrolling through text files (so much so that the
  4. first five minutes are spent in scrolling past the spot you wanted!).
  5. Extensive use of pop-up windows, dialog boxes, and icon-based
  6. selections all make TITED very easy to use.  I especially like how the
  7. program handles scrolling through text files (you see the file scroll
  8. by in "real time" as you  move the scroll box).  All the standard
  9. features are implemented (blocks, selects, text marking, deletes, Undo,
  10. merge, and much more).  The Atari Clipboard is supported as well! One
  11. more feature that I have not seen anywhere else is this program's
  12. ability to read and save files in a Mac compatible way.  You can load
  13. ASCII files originating from an Apple Mac and write them as well (well,
  14. only in the registered version can you save files).  Compatible with any
  15. 680x0 Atari computer.  Resolution independent.  Docs included.  Raymond
  16. Hill is also the author of Rayoid (see the NEWGAMES category), an
  17. EXCELLENT space battle game(s) with many options including modem play.
  18. I liked it so much I registered (only two other people
  19. registered--remember to support SHAREWARE authors or they will go
  20. away!).
